 Cancer Defeated

   Pineapple hot water

Please spread the word!!  Please spread the word!!

ICBS General Hospital Professor Dr. Gilbert A.  Kwok insisted that if everyone who received this bulletin could take ten copies to others, at least one life would be saved.

I have done some on my part, hope you can too..

     Thanks!

Pineapple hot water will save your life

    Hot pineapple kills cancer cells.

Thinly slice 2 to 3 pieces of pineapple in a cup and add hot water, it will be "alkaline water", if you drink it daily, it is good for everyone.

Hot pineapple releases anti-cancer substances, the latest advancement in medicine for effective cancer treatment.

The warm fruit of pineapple has the effect of killing cysts and tumors.  It has been proven to cure all types of cancer.

Pineapple hot water clears all the germs and toxins from the body due to allergies/allergies.

A drug derived from pineapple juice only destroys *violent cells* and does not affect healthy cells.

Also, the amino acids and pineapple polyphenols in pineapple juice can control high blood pressure, prevent blockage of internal blood vessels, improve blood circulation and reduce blood clotting.

After reading, tell others, family, friends, take care of your health.

The Holy Spirit is the true blood of Christ

The Holy Spirit is the true blood of Christ which still is flowing and cleansing souls from sin. (Revelation 1:5). He is: “the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanses our consciences from acts that lead to death.” (Hebrews 9:14).

Three priorities of life

Three priorities of life: 1st most important is God; 2nd most important is Family; 3rd most important is Work.

You can tell how much you love God by how you treat your family and neighbours. Love for one's neighbours is the same as love for God.

"COME TO ME, ALL OF YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE HEAVILY BURDENED, AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU, AND LEARN FROM ME, FOR I AM GENTLE AND LOWLY IN HEART; AND YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. FOR MY YOKE IS EASY, AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT."

THE ROSARY TO GOD THE FATHER

The Rosary is a sign of the times; of these times that are seeing the return of Jesus on the earth "with great power" (Matt. 24:30). Power is attributed above all to the Father ("I believe in God the Father Almighty"). It is the Father who comes in Jesus, and we must urge Him to hasten the times of the new creation so much desired (Romans 8:19).

The Rosary of the Father in five stations, helps us to reflect on His Mercy, which "is stronger than evil, stronger than sin or death" (Dives in Misericordia, VIII,15).

It reminds us that mankind can and must become an instrument for the triumph of the Love of the Father, giving its yes to Him and thus taking its place in the circle of Trinitarian Love that renders it "the living glory of God".

It teaches us to live the mystery of suffering which is a great gift because it gives us the possibility of bearing witness to Himself, even descending among us.

But we ought not to replace the Rosary of Mary by the Father. We ought rather after reciting the entire Marian Rosary of fifteen stations; ask Our Mother to recite the Rosary of the Father with us. She will do that and with us will invoke our Heavenly Father. Our Father will not be able to resist our calls; He will come and make a "new Heaven and a new earth" (Ap. 21).

THE PRAYER OF THE ROSARY OF THE FATHER

"O God come save me."

"Lord come soon to my aid"

"Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, now and ever shall be world without end, Amen."

"My Good Father, I offer myself to Thee."

FIRST MYSTERY: We contemplate on the triumph of the Father in the Garden of Eden, when after the sin of Adam and Eve, He promises the coming of the Lord.

The Lord God said to the serpent: "Because you have done this, you shall be banned from all the animals and all the wild creatures. On your belly shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and hers. He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel." (Gen. 3:14-15)

Recite HAIL MARY, 10 OUR FATHERS, GLORY BE, MY GOOD FATHER, ANGEL OF GOD.

SECOND MYSTERY: We contemplate on the triumph of the Father at the moment of the Fiat of Mary during the Annunciation.

The Angel said to Mary: "Do not fear Mary. You have found favor with God. You shall conceive and bear a Son and give Him the name Jesus. Great will be His dignity and He shall be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give Him the throne of David His father. He will rule over the house of Jacob forever and His reign will be without end." (Lk.: 1,30-33)

Recite HAIL MARY, 10 OUR FATHERS, GLORY BE, MY GOOD FATHER, ANGEL OF GOD.

THIRD MYSTERY: We contemplate on the triumph of the Father when He gives all His power to the Son.

"Father, if it is Your will, take this cup from Me; yet not My will but Your will be done." An angel then appeared to Him from heaven to strengthen Him. In His anguish He prayed with all the greater intensity, and His sweat became like drops of blood falling from the ground." (Lk. 22: 42-44)

Recite HAIL MARY, 10 OUR FATHERS, GLORY BE, MY GOOD FATHER, ANGEL OF GOD.

FOURTH MYSTERY: We contemplate on the triumph of the Father at the moment of every particular judgment.

"While he was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him and was deeply moved. He ran out to meet him and threw his arms around his neck and kissed him. The son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against God and against you; so I no longer deserved to be called your son."

The father said to his servants: "Quick! Bring out the finest robe and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and shoes on his feet. Take the fatted calf and kill it. Let us eat and celebrate because this son of mine was dead and has come back to life. He was lost and is found." (Lk.: 15, 20-24)

Recite HAIL MARY, 10 OUR FATHERS, GLORY BE, MY GOOD FATHER, ANGEL OF GOD

FIFTH MYSTERY: We contemplate the triumph of the Father at the moment of final judgment.

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth. The former heavens and the former earth had passed away, and the sea was no longer. I also saw a new Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God, beautiful as a bride prepared to meet her husband.

I heard a loud voice from the throne cry out: "This is God's dwelling among men. He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people and He shall be their God who is always with them. He shall wipe every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning, crying out or pain, for the former world has passed away. " (Rev. 21, 1-4)

Recite HAIL MARY, 10 OUR FATHERS, GLORY BE, MY GOOD FATHER, ANGEL OF GOD

Father, the earth needs You, me too, we all need You; the heavily polluted air needs You. We beg You, Dear Father, come back to watch the streets of the world; come back to live among Your people, come back to guide the nations; come back to bring Peace and with it Justice; come back to bring the fit of Your love, so that, redeemed to sorrow, we may become new creatures in You. Amen, Amen.

How many times does Mary speak in the Bible?

How many times does Mary speak in the Bible?
BY GINNY KUBITZ MOYER AUGUST 13, 2012
Mary’s words are recorded in four passages in the Bible. Three of the four passages are from the Gospel of Luke: the Annunciation, when she speaks with the angel (Luke 1:34 and 38); her visit to Elizabeth, when Mary sings the psalm of praise known as the Magnificat (Luke 1:46-55); and the time that Jesus is lost in the Temple and Mary admonishes him (Luke 2:48).

We also find Mary speaking in the Gospel of John, during the story of the Wedding at Cana. She tells Jesus that there is no more wine (John 2:3) and then tells the servers, “Do whatever he tells you” (John 2:5) — which, as someone once told me, is perhaps the best bit of advice in the entire Bible.

Where did the Rosary originate?

When did this whole idea of counting beads while praying begin? Where did the Rosary originate?

For centuries long before Christ, the faithful said prayers in a repetitive manner and found different methods of keeping count, often by using rocks or pebbles. By at least the ninth century, monks were reciting all 150 psalms, at first every day, but later every week as part of their prayers and devotions. One way they kept track was to count out 150 pebbles and then place one pebble in a container or pouch as they said each psalm. People living near the monks wanted to mimic this devotion, but due to lack of education couldn’t memorize all the psalms. Printed copies, even if individuals could read, were not available as the printing press was centuries away. So Christians began to pray 50 or 150 Our Fathers (or Paternosters) each week instead of the psalms. In order to keep count of the Our Fathers, they often used string with knots in it instead of counting on rocks. Later the knots gave way to small pieces of wood and eventually to the use of beads.

Alan de la Roche

The way Alan de la Roche came up with the idea of the Mariam Rosary from his dream of  St. Dominic (who had died 250 years ago) claiming receiving instructions from Mary for spreading the rosary to thwart heresy was something not very convincing . The Pope of his era didn't approved it.

Silly Catholics believed him. Alan de la Roche was a popular Dominican priest and a writer. He propagated his own dream-the Mariam Rosary
It was like Mary asking us " you pray to me lah" ..

In my experience, the Hail Mary is said first, then the Our Father's decade. As you pray the Rosary of the Father, you may "feel or see" the Blessed Mother is pleading with the Father on your behalf and that she is urging Him to grant your request.

This person, Alan de la Roche, defrauds millions of Catholics.  He was able to popularise the Mariam Rosary in the western world since he was a well-known priest and author.

Alan Fe la Roche was a Dominican priest.  Although called blessed, he was never officially beatified.

Alan's works on the rosary were printed after his death by J. A. Coppenstein, OP (B. Alanus de Rupe Redivivus, Freiburg 1619), but this edition exhibits a worked-over text and is uncritical and incomplete. Alan gave the Hail Mary, which existed in various forms, the precise form in which it became popular. He divided 150 Ave's into three series of 50, introduced the Our Father before each 10, and treated in accompanying articles or statements the mysteries of the birth, Passion, and glory of Christ. In 1470 he founded at Douai the first Confraternity of the Rosary.

How did the Mariam Rosary came about?

Alan de la Roche was responsible for establishing the devotion of the Rosary in the western Europe.   Two and half centuries after St. Dominic's death (in 1208 ), a Dominican priest named Alan de la Roche in a dream, he dreamt that St. Dominic , the founder of the Dominican order had been given the mission to teach the Rosary devotion by Our Lady in Prouille, France. I can't believe Catholics can accept this

Then again Alan de la Roche claimed as follows.  I couldn't believe millions could accept these nonsense...

1. "One day when he [Blessed Alan] was saying Mass, Our Lord, who wished to spur him on to preach the holy rosary, spoke to him in the Sacred Host: "How can you crucify me again so soon?" Jesus said. "What did you say, Lord?" asked Blessed Alan, horrified. "You crucified me once before by your sins," answered Jesus, "and I would willingly be crucified again rather than have my Father offended by the sins you used to commit. You are crucifying me again now because you have all the learning and understanding that you need to preach my mother's rosary, and you are not doing so. If you only did this you could teach many souls the right path and lead them away from sin - but you are not doing it."

2. Our Lady also spoke to Blessed Alan, imploring him to preach her Rosary:

"You were a great sinner in your youth," she said, "but I obtained the grace of your conversion from my Son. Had such a thing been possible I would have liked to have gone through all kinds of suffering to save you because converted sinners are a glory to me. And I would have done this also to make you worthy of preaching the rosary far and wide."

3. Finally, St. Dominic, the founder of the Dominicans (and of the Rosary), appeared to him, too, urging Blessed Alan to renew this devotion because preaching the Rosary will bear fruit and will save souls:

4. Saint Dominic appeared to Blessed Alan as well and told him of the great results of his [own] ministry: he [St. Dominic] had preached the holy rosary unceasingly, his sermons had borne great fruit and many people had been converted during his missions. He said to Blessed Alan, "See the wonderful results I have had through preaching the holy rosary! You and all those who love Our Lady ought to do the same so that, by means of this holy practice of the rosary, you may draw all people to the real science of the virtues."
5. After experiencing these visions, Blessed Alan made the renewal of the Rosary devotion his mission in life. He now understood the power of the Rosary as a means, not only to renew the Dominican Order, but to renew the world.

But Blessed Alan also understood the power of the Rosary to help rescue the Holy Souls in Purgatory. According to St. Alphonsus Liguori:

Blessed Alan writes that many of the [Dominican] brethren had appeared to them while reciting the rosary, and had declared that next to the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass there was no more powerful means than the rosary to help the suffering souls [in purgatory]. Numerous souls were released daily who otherwise would have been obliged to remain in purgatory for years.

As a Dominican priest whose Order was established by St. Dominic, I got the impression that he craved attention.

Alan Fe la Roche was a Dominican priest.  Although called blessed, he was never officially beatified.

Alan's works on the rosary were printed after his death by J. A. Coppenstein, OP (B.  "To a great extent the world is what we make it. We get back what we give. If we sow hate, we reap hate; if we scatter love and gentleness we harvest love and happiness. Other people are like a mirror which reflects back on us the kind of image we cast. The kind person bears with the infirmities of others, never magnifies trifles, and avoids a spirit of fault finding." - Archbishop Fulton Sheen

Rosary of the Father

Imagine the world turning upside down if all Catholics who pray the Mariam rosary switched to the Father Rosary. In the Our Father prayer, we praise God the Father and ask him to establish his kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, provide for everyone's daily needs, and free us from sin and wickedness.

Make the sign of the Cross. Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary for each Mystery.

1. The first mystery: The Garden of Eden, our Heavenly Father promises to send His Son, after the fall of Adam and Eve.
(Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary)
2. The second mystery: The Annunciation, when Mary humbly accepts our Father's request, to become the Mother of His Only Son. (Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary.')
3. The third mystery: The Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, when Christ suffers in agony for all our sins. (Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary.')
4. The fourth mystery: Our Father's Divine Mercy, as demonstrated in Christ's Parable of the 'prodigal son.' (Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary.')
5. The fifth mystery: Our Father's Triumph at the Final Judgement at the end of time. (Say 10 'Our Fathers,' and 1 'Hail Mary.')
Ending: Say the 'Glory Be...'

Blessed

I am very blessed to know that I have all of God's promises and authority to claim, standing in par as our Messiah to our heavenly Father.

🛡🛡When we pray, our faith is in God and not in our own faith. Mark 11: 19-26⚔🙏💕

Faith:  It is our personal faith in the promises of God that ensures our becoming partakers of the divine nature. We must be willing to give God all that we have and are; our commitment must be unreserved, no aspect of our lives held back. Faith is the price of eternal life.

Romans 12:11Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
11 Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord.

Frequently the Lord heals, blesses, and delivers only after we reach a place of humility, forgiveness, and repentance -- until we get rid of all the clutter.

  1.在聖潔中成長。

  a.我们很少談論聖潔,當然也沒有強調-

  b.但如果基督徒要走耶穌的腳步,聖潔

  2. 福傳和傳教使命

  a. 大多數天主教徒都不知道怎様成

Speaker's Training

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ. Hello everyone.

CFL has a mission of evangelization and renewal. As part of the means to this end, in CFL we have many formation courses, and thus many talks to be given. And as part of our culture, we do not limit speakers to a few tested elders, but rather we want to spread out this service to as many of our members as possible. We do believe that since God has given us a ministry of rapid and massive evangelization, he will also raise up those speakers and teachers that will be needed to share in the work. Why do we take holy communion

Why do we take holy communion? The holy communion is the bread and the wine. What is the bread for? The bread is the broken body of Jesus. He took  all our sins, diseases and curses upon Him. His body was broken so that when you receive it you can be made whole. - physical healing. The wine, the cup is for you to receive spiritual healing. So it is physical and spiritual. Jesus not only died for the body - physical healing. He died for the total man.

You can have all of your doctrines right yet still not have the presence of God.

你可以拥有所有正确的教义,但仍然没有上帝的同在。

教义

True faith is impossible without repentance

“There is no other way to faith except through repentance. Any other way that claims to get you there is a deception. True faith is impossible without repentance. And faith comes only after repentance. The whole message of the Bible is in this order: Repent and believe. The first word of command that ever came from the lips of Jesus was not believe, but repent. Without true repentance there can never be true faith. You cannot become a real Christian without repentance.”Derek Prince

Come Holy Spirit. Come Holy Spirit

“Come Holy Spirit. Come Holy Spirit.”

We can never repeat that enough. It’s the most fundamental of prayers. You can even ask the Holy Spirit to tell you what you need and how to pray for it!

“Peace does not come from you, but from God,” the Blessed Virgin said in 1984 at Medjugorje.

“I call you always to bring harmony and peace.”

“Raise your hands, yearn for Jesus, because in His Resurrection He wants to fill you with graces. Be enthusiastic about the Resurrection. All of us in Heaven are happy, but we seek the joy of your hearts.”

“The most important thing in the spiritual life is to ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes, the peace will be established. When that occurs, everything changes around you.”

“I have come to call the world to conversion for the last time” (1982).

“Let the Holy Mass be your life.”

For it is the Holy Spirit Who grants guidance, heals sickness, strengthens our bodies, and protects us against all untoward events. It’s the Holy Spirit Who imbues Mass with Christ’s Presence. When there are miracles or revelations, these are accomplished through the Holy Spirit. During Mass He is especially strong. He is especially willing to pervade our spirits.

And we should invite that. We should beg for His arrival. We should beg Him to pray through our minds and lips. Again, we should ask Him to reveal to us what it is we should be praying about.

He is the Spirit of Truth. He is the Spirit of prayerfulness.

When the priest gives us the opportunity to reflect upon our sins, we should ask the Holy Spirit to tell us what sins we most need to purge. We should ask Him to reach deep into our pasts and expunge any evil. We should ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten us as to what we need for spiritual development.

And we should cover ourselves with the whiteness of His protection.

Such is crucial in our time, when evil spirits (which we’ll be discussing more this week) are more numerous than ever– when they continue to climb in a horde from the pit, when they antagonize and anger and divide us. We need special protection, and that protection is given by the Holy Spirit. He draws us to the Father. He draws us to Jesus. As part of the Holy Trinity, He has the power to grant us health (if such is the Will of God) and shield us from demonism.

At Mass we should ask the Holy Spirit to protect us and our loved ones from accidents and disease. We should ask for protection from any unfortunate events. We should ask the Spirit to send special angels and further empower those angels we have. We should ask Him to guide our every thought and action. We should ask for a long, healthy life, a holy death, and the sure route to Heaven.

Come Holy Spirit of truth. Come Holy Spirit of Health. Come Holy Spirit of holiness. Come Holy Spirit of purity. Come Holy Spirit of discernment. Come Holy Spirit of peace.

Nothing brings the Holy Spirit like the Eucharist, and with God, anything is possible. Anything can change. Anything can be accomplished. As the Virgin of Medjugorje said, “The most important thing in the spiritual life is to ask for the gift of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes, then peace will be established. When that occurs, everything around you changes. Pray for the Holy Spirit for enlightenment. Ask the Holy Spirit to renew your souls, to renew the entire world. Raise your hands, yearn for Jesus because in His Resurrection He wants to fill you with graces.”

When that happens, when we have the Holy Spirit, then, according to Our Blessed Mother, we have everything.

A list of false teachings in the Roman Catholic Church

A list of false teachings in the Roman Catholic Church

by  | Dec 7, 2013 | Roman CatholicismWorld Religions

The Protestant Reformation happened for a reason. Basically, it was to combat the many false teachings that the Roman Catholic Church had adopted through the centuries. When Martin Luther compared Catholicism to Scripture, the result was his nailing the 95 theses to the Wittenberg door. However, instead of reforming the Roman Catholic Church, it resulted in the protesters, the Protestants, who sought to get back to the Scriptures.  The Catholic Church then tried to kill Luther.  But, the Reformation had begun and it spread throughout Europe.

Bible and catechism of the roman Catholic Church false teaching

Following is a summarized paragraph with references found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) of many of the false teachings of Roman Catholicism. How do we know they are false? By comparing Scripture with what is taught.

The Catholic Church is the one true church (CCC 2105), Infallibility of the Catholic Church, (CCC 2035), Only the Roman Catholic Church has authority to interpret Scripture (CCC 100), The Pope is the head of the church and has the authority of Christ (CCC 2034), The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation (CCC 846), Sacred Tradition equal to scripture (CCC 82), Forgiveness of sins, salvation, is by faith and works (CCC 2036 CCC 2080 2068), Full benefit of Salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church (Vatican 2, Decree on Ecumenism, 3), Grace can be merited (CCC 2010 CCC 2027), The merit of Mary and the Saints can be applied to Catholics and others (1477), Penance is necessary for salvation (CCC 980), Purgatory (CCC 1031 CCC 1475), Indulgences (CCC 1471 CCC 1478 CCC 1498 CCC 1472), Mary is Mediatrix (CCC 969), Mary brings us the gifts of eternal salvation (CCC 969), Mary delivers souls from death (CCC 966), Prayer to the saints (CCC 2677), The Communion elements become the actual body and blood of Christ (CCC 1374 CCC 1376).

  1. The Catholic church is the one true church
    1.  CCC 2105 “The duty of offering God genuine worship concerns man both individually and socially. This is ‘the traditional Catholic teaching on the moral duty of individuals and societies toward the true religion and the one Church of Christ.’ By constantly evangelizing men, the Church works toward enabling them ‘to infuse the Christian spirit into the mentality and mores, laws and structures of the communities in which [they] live.’ The social duty of Christians is to respect and awaken in each man the love of the true and the good. It requires them to make known the worship of the one true religion which subsists in the Catholic and apostolic Church. Christians are called to be the light of the world. Thus, the Church shows forth the kingship of Christ over all creation and in particular over human societies.”
  2. Infallibility of the Catholic Church
    1. CCC 2035, “The supreme degree of participation in the authority of Christ is ensured by the charism of infallibility. This infallibility extends as far as does the deposit of divine Revelation; it also extends to all those elements of doctrine, including morals, without which the saving truths of the faith cannot be preserved, explained, or observed.”
  3. Only the Roman Catholic Church has the authority to interpret Scripture
    1. CCC 100, “The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the Magisterium of the Church, that is, to the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him.”
  4. The Pope is the head of the church and has the authority of Christ
    1. CCC 2034, “The Roman Pontiff and the bishops are ‘authentic teachers, that is, teachers endowed with the authority of Christ, who preach the faith to the people entrusted to them, the faith to be believed and put into practice.’ The ordinary and universal Magisterium of the Pope and the bishops in communion with him teach the faithful the truth to believe, the charity to practice, the beatitude to hope for.”
  5. The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation
    1. CCC 846, “How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers? Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body: Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.”
  6. Sacred Tradition equal to scripture
    1. CCC 82, “…the Church, to whom the transmission and interpretation of Revelation are entrusted, does not derive her certainty about all revealed truths from the holy Scriptures alone. Both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal sentiments of devotion and reverence.'”
  7. Forgiveness of sins, salvation, is by faith and works
    1. CCC 2036, “The specific precepts of the natural law, because their observance, demanded by the creator, is necessary for salvation.”
    2. CCC 2080, “The Decalogue contains a privileged expression of the natural law. It is made known to us by divine revelation and by human reason.”
    3. CCC 2068, “so that all men may attain salvation through faith, Baptism and the observance of the Commandments,”
  8. The full benefit of Salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church
    1. “For it is only through Christ’s Catholic Church, which is “the all-embracing means of salvation,” that they can benefit fully from the means of salvation,”  (Vatican 2, Decree on Ecumenism, 3).
  9. Grace can be merited
    1. CCC 2010, “Moved by the Holy Spirit and by charity, we can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed for our sanctification.”
    2. CCC 2027, “Moved by the Holy Spirit, we can merit for ourselves and for others all the graces needed to attain eternal life, as well as necessary temporal goods.”
  10. The merit of Mary and the Saints can be applied to Catholics and others
    1. 1477, “This treasury includes as well the prayers and good works of the Blessed Virgin Mary. They are truly immense, unfathomable, and even pristine in their value before God. In the treasury, too, are the prayers and good works of all the saints, all those who have followed in the footsteps of Christ the Lord and by his grace have made their lives holy and carried out the mission in the unity of the Mystical Body.”
  11. Penance is necessary for salvation
    1. CCC 980, “This sacrament of Penance is necessary for salvation for those who have fallen after Baptism, just as Baptism is necessary for salvation for those who have not yet been reborn.”
  12. Purgatory
    1. CCC 1031, “The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence and Trent. The tradition of the Church, by reference to certain texts of Scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire:
    2. CCC 1475, “In the communion of saints, “a perennial link of charity exists between the faithful who have already reached their heavenly home, those who are expiating their sins in purgatory and those who are still pilgrims on earth. Between them there is, too, an abundant exchange of all good things.” In this wonderful exchange, the holiness of one profits others, well beyond the harm that the sin of one could cause others. Thus recourse to the communion of saints lets the contrite sinner be more promptly and efficaciously purified of the punishments for sin.
  13. Indulgences
    1. CCC 1471, “The doctrine and practice of indulgences in the Church are closely linked to the effects of the sacrament of Penance. What is an indulgence? ‘An indulgence is a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, which the faithful Christian who is duly disposed gains under certain prescribed conditions through the action of the Church which, as the minister of redemption, dispenses and applies with authority the treasury of the satisfactions of Christ and the saints.’ ‘An indulgence is partial or plenary according as it removes either part or all of the temporal punishment due to sin.’ The faithful can gain indulgences for themselves or apply them to the dead.”
    2. CCC 1478, “An indulgence is obtained through the Church who, by virtue of the power of binding and loosing granted her by Christ Jesus, intervenes in favor of individual Christians and opens for them the treasury of the merits of Christ and the saints to obtain from the Father of mercies the remission of the temporal punishments due for their sins. Thus the Church does not want simply to come to the aid of these Christians, but also to spur them to works of devotion, penance, and charity.
    3. CCC 1498, “Through indulgences the faithful can obtain the remission of temporal punishment resulting from sin for themselves and also for the souls in Purgatory.”
    4. CCC 1472, “…On the other hand every sin, even venial, entails an unhealthy attachment to creatures, which must be purified either here on earth, or after death in the state called Purgatory. This purification frees one from what is called the “temporal punishment” of sin…”
  14. Mary (there are many false doctrines concerning Mary found in Roman Catholicism, here are a few)
    1. Mary is Mediatrix, CCC 969, “Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.'”
    2. Mary brings us the gifts of eternal salvation, CCC 969, “Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation…”
    3. Mary delivers souls from death, CCC 966, “…You [Mary] conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death.”
  15. Prayer to the saints
    1. CCC 2677, “By asking Mary to pray for us, we acknowledge ourselves to be poor sinners and we address ourselves to the ‘Mother of Mercy,’ the All-Holy One. We give ourselves over to her now, in the Today of our lives. And our trust broadens further, already at the present moment, to surrender ‘the hour of our death’ wholly to her care.”
  16. The Communion elements become the actual body and blood of Christ
    1. CCC 1374, “In the most blessed sacrament of the Eucharist “the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained.”
    2. CCC 1376, “The Council of Trent summarizes the Catholic faith by declaring: “Because Christ our Redeemer said that it was truly his body that he was offering under the species of bread, it has always been the conviction of the Church of God, and this holy Council now declares again, that by the consecration of the bread and wine there takes place a change of the whole substance of the bread into the substance of the body of Christ our Lord and of the whole substance of the wine into the substance of his blood. This change the holy Catholic Church has fittingly and properly called transubstantiation.”
