The Law Of Praying

John 5:13-15New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)
I write these things to you so that you may know that you have eternal life, you who believe in the name of the Son of God.14 And we have this confidence in him, that if we ask anything according to his WILL, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in regard to WHATEVER we ask, we know that what we have asked him for is ours.

Some ppl go wrong with this scripture.....that if you ask according to His will πŸ‘†. It is His will that you ask Him.   But what He said is not according to His will for whether or not that thing  you asked is His will. What He meant there was ask according to His will for asking. That's mean the principle of Asking and Receiving, the principle of prayer.  He wasn't saying to ask if the thing is His will then you going to get it, then if its not His will then you not going to get it. Get it or not getting it has nothing to do with God's will. God never put the cross that that if you pray we only get it if God wants us to. He said, ask ANYTHING, you get it. So you better be careful what you going to ask for because you going to get it. We are children of God, He doesn't hold back on us. What He does is go teach us. E.g. Deu 30:19 ... "I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live....."
Choose life, the option is before you, but life is better than death, so He said choose life. The options are all yours. What you choose is up to you. Ask the perfect will of God for your life because that's most important thing in your life, not what I want, but what He wants from you, because I want to be the man or woman that He choose me to be.
